PARAMEDIC REFRESHER COURSES OFFERED BY SOUTHEASTERN EMERGENCY
Next Paramedic Refresher Courses are March 6-11, 2017 in the Raleigh, NC area.
ALL CLASSES ARE FULL AND WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ADDITIONAL STUDENTS
The curriculum guidelines will be the objectives of the 2016 Paramedic National Continued Competency Program (NCCP). The program will consist of a Monday - Thursday lecture and hands-on component, followed by two OPTIONAL days for participants to complete ACLS and PALS if desired. A final component we have added is a module comprising 12 hours of online coursework. These hours are built around the NCCP requirements and will fill in the remaining areas needed for 60 total hours. Completion of the entire classroom and online programs will achieve all 60 hours required for NREMT-P re-certification.
Completion of the 32-hour module will meet all 30 hours of the National Competency category and provide 2 additional hours to be utilized for the Individual Competency category. Participants who choose to participate in the ACLS and PALS courses will receive 16 hours to utilize towards the Individual Competency category and possibly towards the Local Competency category (depending on the educational requirements of your employer). .
Participants will be required to complete any online components by 5:00pm on Monday, March 20, 2017 so that course paperwork may be prepared..
Southeastern Emergency Equipment Education and Clinical Services staff will assist participants in advising how hours attended could apply hours attended towards the 60-hour Paramedic NCCP requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: The only way to receive the entire 60 hours in the required topic areas is to complete all modules of this course. We will not list or verify outside CE on your paperwork. All classroom and online work is CAPCE approved.
