HeartCode BLS - $72
An Official American Heart Association, Self-Directed, Comprehensive eLearning program

HeartCode BLS is an interactive self-directed learning program which completes all cognitive requirements for the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Course. Course completion consists of two separate elements: completing the computer-based cognitive portion and demonstrating skills to an AHA BLS Instructor, or by using a voice-assisted manikin system. HeartCode BLS can be used for initial or renewal certification.

Extensive Reference Material
With hours of educational content, HeartCode BLS contains all of the lessons from the BLS texts conveniently referenced. Providers can review all of the material from start to finish or focus on the topics they feel they need to spend more time on. HeartCode BLS includes all of the exams required for successful completion of the BLS Program.

Realistic Patient Scenarios
HeartCode BLS now includes microsimulation technology that improves both the educational content and user-friendliness of the program.  Providers are presented with realistic patient cases and are required to interact with the program to assess the patient, formulate a treatment plan based on the BLS algorithm, and effect treatment. This technology allows the simulated patient to react according to the treatment provided-good or bad- in order to provide a learning experience, not just an evaluation. In addition to standard drop-down menus, the on-screen simulations allow the provider to interact directly with the scene images to increase the realism of the scenario.

Intelligent Debriefing
Upon completion of a given scenario, the provider is presented with a detailed debriefing screen. This debriefing is more than just a list of events ending with a score. Providers are presented with an account of their actions, emphasizing both correct and incorrect actions. Suggestions for improvement are offered and all appropriate reference material is hyperlinked to the debriefing, allowing immediate remediation at the conclusion of the scenario. The debriefing screen details incorrect and correct actions, provides suggestions for improvement, and incorporates direct links to the appropriate reference material.

Registration:
If you would like to register for this course please click any “REGISTER NOW” button and you will be taken through the registration and payment process.  In the "Course Date" field please enter the date you prefer for a skills check.  Once your payment is received we will issue you a “key” via email that will have inctructions for completing the Online component.  After completion please contact us to set up a time to come to our training facility and complete your skills check.  Skills checks are scheduled on an individual basis to be as flexible as possible.
